Sertel Lojistik, one of the largest logistics operators in Türkiye's Aegean region, has stepped up its long-running collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Türk through a single delivery of 153 Actros L tractor units. Senior executives from Mercedes-Benz Türk, dealer Has Otomotiv, body builder Koluman and Mercedes-Benz Kamyon Finansman attended the handover ceremony.
Alper Kurt, Truck Marketing and Sales Director at Mercedes-Benz Türk, traced the partnership back to early fleet deals in 2012. "Our cooperation with Sertel Lojistik goes well beyond today's 153-unit sale. We see them not just as a customer but as a valued business partner," Kurt said.
The 153-vehicle batch consists of fuel-efficient, safety-equipped Actros L tractors. The trucks will reinforce Sertel Lojistik's transport capacity, particularly on European routes.
Financing was provided by Mercedes-Benz Kamyon Finansman, with dealer Has Otomotiv and body builder Koluman coordinating the sale. The deal comes against a backdrop of a 12 percent contraction in Türkiye's heavy commercial vehicle market in Q1 2026, indicating that large fleets are accelerating their renewal investments.
Sertel's move signals that fleet modernisation and carbon footprint pressure are pushing scale-driven investments in Türkiye's logistics sector. The company plans to deploy the new capacity on Aegean-anchored export routes.
