Kayseri-based ready-mix concrete operator Bakir Beton has strengthened its heavy-duty fleet with the addition of 20 MAN TGX 18.480 BL_SA tractor units. The investment is aimed at lifting operational efficiency across the firm's concrete production and quarry operations.

The vehicles were purchased through MAN's Kayseri Metinler dealership and handed over at a ceremony attended by company executives. The fleet expansion reflects sustained demand for ready-mix concrete in Türkiye, fuelled by infrastructure projects and urbanisation, where short jobsite delivery windows leave little margin for fleet downtime.

Bakir Beton again chose MAN for the new investment, citing the platform advantages and after-sales support it offers for hard-duty operations. The company has been combining ready-mix production with quarry haulage in central Anatolia, where high tonnage demands and rough operating environments place a premium on truck reliability.

The MAN TGX 18.480 BL_SA is recognised for low fuel consumption and high durability under heavy haul. The order will allow Bakir Beton to plan more load movements per day across its mixer and quarry runs, supporting tighter just-in-time delivery for jobsites.
