Mercedes-Benz Türk's corporate social responsibility project for truck drivers, the Health Care Truck, has launched its 5th season. Having reached nearly 16,000 drivers across 50 events over four seasons and won a total of 23 awards, the project will continue supporting drivers with 10 events in 9 different locations across Türkiye this season. The project provides drivers with free health screenings, psychological support, and personal care services through internal medicine specialists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

Truck drivers benefit from basic health checks at Health Care Truck events, while physiotherapists provide hands-on training for exercises applicable during long hauls. Psychological support contributes to their mental well-being, and on-site barbers offer free personal care services. The project aims to support truck drivers' health and quality of life amid their demanding work schedules, while continuing to raise important awareness in the sector. In recent years, Mercedes-Benz Türk has incorporated digital content into the project, reaching drivers who cannot attend events through social media.

Alper Kurt, Truck Marketing and Sales Director at Mercedes-Benz Türk, emphasized that the continuity of the transportation sector depends on the dedication of long-haul drivers working in the field. Kurt stated, "We are well aware of the challenges faced by our drivers who spend most of their day behind the wheel, working under demanding road and working conditions. We view the Health Care Truck project not merely as a social benefit initiative, but as concrete and meaningful support for one of our sector's most important stakeholders."

Miray Demirel, Communications Director at Mercedes-Benz Türk, noted that they view the project as a long-term social benefit journey. Demirel stated, "We are proud to have organized approximately 50 events across four seasons and reached nearly 16,000 of our drivers. During this process, we didn't just provide health checks; we established one-on-one contact with our drivers, listened to their stories, and gained the opportunity to understand their needs more closely. For us, the greatest value lies in the feedback from our drivers who leave the event areas satisfied and feeling valued."

The Health Care Truck has been honored with a total of 23 awards at major industry organizations including Kristal Elma, Felis, and ACE of M.I.C.E Awards. In its fifth season, the project will continue meeting drivers at different locations across Türkiye and contributing to their quality of life.
