FESCO Transport Group has launched a new intermodal container service between Ankara and Novorossiysk via Gebze. According to the Group, cargo is delivered by block trains from Ankara to Gebze and shipped by the FESCO Türkiye Black Sea service to Novorossiysk. The transit time by rail is one to two days and by sea about three days on average.

From Novorossiysk, containers can be delivered to Moscow via the FESCO Novorossiysk Moscow Shuttle rail service and from there to other Russian regions. This structure offers Turkish-based manufacturers and traders uninterrupted access to Russia's domestic market. In export mode, FESCO transports from Russia to central Türkiye and provides a road delivery option to customers' warehouses in central Anatolia.

The service was launched in line with the developing bilateral trade volume between Türkiye and Russia. Russia, under Western sanctions following the Ukraine war, has turned to alternative trade partners; Türkiye has taken on a strategic role. FESCO's integrated service combines rail, sea, and road transport under a single booking, providing shippers a single point of contact. This is particularly preferred for automotive parts, textiles, food, and machinery shipments.
