Revolutionary Drone Technology Transforms Warehouse Management
Revolutionary Drone Technology Transforms Warehouse Management
Vienna-based mobile data capture and analytics company Anyline announced on February 19 the launch of a new autonomous drone inventory management software for warehouses. Anyline disclosed that it has partnered with multinational paper and packaging company Mondi to develop this autonomous drone barcode scanning technology.
\nBefore drones were deployed, scanning inventory in large warehouses required multiple workers to manually lift items using forklifts. However, according to Anyline, this technology enables a single drone operator to easily scan inventory, creating a safer and more accurate tracking process for warehouses. Anyline CEO and co-founder Lukas Kinigadner said, "Both Anyline and Mondi are passionate about innovation. We are proud to be part of this project that is redefining what is technologically possible in inventory management, though this is also applicable to other industries. We look forward to continuing to work with Mondi and other organizations and to inspiring others to innovate and transform the way they work."
