FourKites Joins Shipping Timing Standards Consortium

FourKites announced its participation in the Shipper Shipper Credentials Exchange (SSC), a consortium comprising major companies and service providers in the transportation sector. The SSC released an industry standard for freight appointments in 2023 and developed an application programming interface (API) for transportation management systems (TMS) developers. This development has created a common language that enables parties to work more efficiently, reduce unnecessary trips and waste, lower costs, and improve service quality.
