China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) unveiled the world's largest LNG-powered container vessel with a capacity of 27,500 TEU at the SMM Maritime Fair held in Hamburg. The massive vessel, named "Green Sealion 27500," stands out for both its capacity and environment-friendly technologies. The ship can operate on both conventional fuels and LNG, and has the capability to receive zero-emission energy while in port. Its optimized hull design has improved fuel efficiency.

At the same event, CSSC also unveiled other ship designs powered by different fuel types and equipped with environmentally friendly technologies. These include the "Green Sealion 20000" with a capacity of 20,000 TEU powered by ammonia and the "Green Sealion 16000" with a capacity of 16,000 TEU powered by LNG. Additionally, modern liquefied gas carriers designed for ethane and ammonia transportation were also on display.
