The Port Authority of Valencia is advancing its marine renewable energy integration through participation in the European Union-funded RENMARINAS DEMOS project, an initiative supporting research, development and innovation in marine renewable energy technologies. The authority has launched a tender for the design, supply and installation of two electrical power evacuation systems. The first system will connect a floating photovoltaic plant at the Port of Valencia to the port's medium-voltage grid. The combined project carries a budget exceeding EUR 1.7 million with an eleven-month completion timeline.
