CMA CGM Launches Asia–Indian Subcontinent Service

CMA CGM announced that it will launch a new Asia Subcontinent Express 2 (AS2) service linking Asia with the Indian subcontinent.

The new service will commence on December 3, 2023.

\n

\n

This new service comes one month after CMA CGM announced a reorganization of its services connecting the Eastern Mediterranean, Malta, and Libya.

\n

\n

According to CMA CGM, the AS2 will provide weekly service, linking Central/South China to Colombo, Nhava Sheva, and Mundra.

\n

\n

According to CMA CGM, the port rotation is as follows:

\n

Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Colombo - Mundra - Nhava Sheva - Singapore - Shanghai

\n

\n

Additionally, the AS2 service provides an intra-subcontinent connection from Colombo to India and offers access from Southeast Asia to Indian subcontinent ports via Singapore to CMA CGM's extensive network.
