The new system digitizes the entire truck journey, from pre-arrival booking to gate processing and yard navigation. Truck drivers can now use a mobile app for contactless gate check-in, real-time navigation and terminal processing.
MGTP said the platform improves yard planning, resource utilization and visibility across truck movements inside the terminal. The system also reduces waiting times and speeds up truck turnaround through a mobile-first workflow. Because the solution runs entirely on smartphones, terminals do not need gate kiosks, paper documentation or additional hardware infrastructure.
