Rhenus Group has completed the acquisition of the remaining 49% stake in LBH Global Agencies, taking full ownership of the port agency business. The move follows the strategic partnership established in 2023; Rhenus has acquired the remaining shares from the Lagendijk family, making LBH a wholly-owned subsidiary.

LBH Group operates in 24 countries, providing port agency services for bulk, liquid, container and general cargo vessels. The acquisition strengthens Rhenus' global maritime and port logistics network and supports its strategy to expand presence in international trade and supply chain services.

Operational alignment between the two companies has deepened over recent years. During the partnership phase, LBH's port agency expertise combined with Rhenus' global logistics network to deliver more integrated, flexible end-to-end solutions for customers.

Under the new structure, LBH sits within Rhenus Maritime Services while broadly retaining its corporate identity and operational brand presence. Value-added agency services in port calls, vessel discharge coordination and freight documentation will reach a wider footprint of global customers.
